Dream For A Dollar ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website dreamforadollar.com and related services. We are a community-powered personal growth and dream funding platform.

• Email address (when joining the waitlist or becoming a member)
• Name (optional, when setting up your profile)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
• Dream submissions and journal entries you create on the platform

• IP address and approximate location (city/country level only)
• Browser type and device information
• Pages visited and features used on our platform
• Referral source (how you found us)

We use your information only to:

• Create and manage your membership account
• Process your $1/month subscription payment securely
• Send you important account and platform updates
• Display your dream submissions for community voting (with your permission)
• Power the AI Growth Dashboard and journaling features
• Send our newsletter (only if you opt in)
• Improve our platform and fix issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We never sell your personal information to third parties. We never use your data for advertising outside our platform.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. We never see, store, or handle your credit card numbers or banking information. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment data: stripe.com/privacy

We share your information only with:

• Stripe — to process payments
• Supabase — our database provider, which stores your account data securely
• Resend — our email provider, which sends transactional emails
• Anthropic (Claude API) — to power AI journaling features (your entries are not used to train AI models)
• Law enforcement — only when required by law

All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

When you submit a dream for community voting, your dream description and first name (or username) will be visible to other members for voting purposes. You control whether to submit a dream — it is never required.

Journal entries are completely private and are never shared with other members or the public.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your membership and request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes (such as payment records, which we retain for 7 years per IRS requirements).

You have the right to:

• Access all personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing emails at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
• Cancel your membership at any time with no penalty
